Press Release #92 (9/13/11)

MOD Schedule Update - September 2011

"Transformers: Dark of the Moon" added to September Movies On Demand

Sci-fi fans will never look at the moon the same way again. Directed by Michael Bay and produced by Steven Spielberg, "Transformers: Dark of the Moon" joins the September 2011 Movies On Demand on Cable schedule, premiering on Sept. 30, the same day as its DVD release.

The latest installment in the Transformers series once again pits the Autobots versus the Decepticons and stars Shia LaBeouf, Josh Duhamel, John Turturro, Tyrese Gibson and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and is rated PG-13.

The summer 2011 hit sci-fi film made about $350 million in U.S. DBO (Domestic Box Office), grossed more than $1 billion world-wide and is the second biggest grossing film of 2011 so far.

Shia LaBeouf returns as Sam Witwicky in "Transformers: Dark of the Moon." When a mysterious event from Earth's past erupts into the present day, it threatens to bring a war to Earth so big that the Transformers alone will not be able to save us.
