Michael Berman Becomes Executive Vice President, Programming and General Counsel; Brooke Smarsh Raised to Vice President, Business & Legal Affairs, Assistant General Counsel

New York - June 14 - iN DEMAND, the nation's leading distributor of transactional programming to cable, has promoted two of its senior executives to new positions, announced Bob Benya, President & CEO. Michael Berman is now Executive Vice President, Programming and General Counsel and Brooke Smarsh is Vice President, Business & Legal Affairs, Assistant General Counsel.

In his new role, Mr. Berman oversees all programming, business and legal affairs. He was previously Senior Vice President, Business Affairs & General Counsel for the company. He has been with iN DEMAND since late 2000. He joined iN DEMAND from Scripps Television Networks where he was Director of Legal Affairs.

Ms. Smarsh was previously VP, Business & Legal Affairs. She joined iN DEMAND in Dec., 2005 from Greenberg Traurig, where she was an associate. She has been a board member of New York Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT) since 2005.

According to Mr. Benya, "Michael and Brooke are two of the smartest legal minds in the business.
