Free On Demand Behind-the-Scenes Featurettes Now Available On Cable and Online in Advance of the Special

New York, Aug. 20 - Lewis Black's first ever live Pay-Per-View (PPV) mega comedy event LEWIS BLACK: OLD YELLER - LIVE AT THE BORGATA from Atlantic City, distributed by Image Entertainment (an RLJ Entertainment (NASDAQ: RLJE) brand), premieres on cable PPV Saturday, August 24th at 9:30PM ET, and will be available starting the next day on Video On Demand (VOD) on cable systems nationwide. It is distributed to cable by iN DEMAND. To get fans in the mood for the live event, starting at 9:00PM ET on Aug. 24, a 30-minute pre-show on the same PPV channels kicks off the evening. This documentary, called "Basic Black - The Lewis Black Story," traces the career of this socially-charged comedian, as cameras follow him on tour for the first time. Through this journey, the viewer is treated to an insider's perspective as Lewis reflects on his childhood, his parents, his early career and how he had to "lick every rung on the ladder" during the struggle to develop his unique comedic style. A wealth of free on demand content is available in advance of the special.

The live PPV show will be repeated at 12:30AM ET/9:30PM PT later that night, and will be widely available on VOD starting on August 25. **SRP for both the PPV and VOD airings is $19.99. *See below for locations of both the FOD content and VOD airings on various cable systems.

FREE ON DEMAND CONTENT In advance of the event, fans everywhere will be able to access a selection of Free On Demand (FOD) entertaining short videos with behind-the-scenes footage and interviews with the irrepressible Mr. Black. Cable viewers should check their On Demand menus from now until September 17 to view this content (available on most systems).  It is also available at:

The FOD content includes Lewis Black: Road To Success, Lewis Black: Anger Is Funny - why his humor is loved by all; Lewis Black: Thoughts On Politics - why politics are so often used in his jokes; Lewis Black: Performing Live - some of Black's views on patriotism; and Lewis Black: New Comedy Set - about his new show at the Borgata.

In his ninth comedy special, Lewis Black tears into a country that is going nowhere at the speed of light.  OLD YELLER weaves the riotous tale of a country that is so strung out on ADD that it can't see straight. In his rabid attack, Mr. Black even turns on himself-and his entire generation. From cable television to the computer, from Facebook to Twitter, Mr. Black rages about the prison we've insanely created for ourselves. He snarls at the country's failure to find alternative energy sources while creating cell phones out of the realm of science fiction. He mauls our nation's leaders for their laughably inept handling of social security and health care.

LEWIS BLACK: OLD YELLER - LIVE AT THE BORGATA is produced by Benjamin Brewer and Jack GulickLewis Black serves as Executive Producer along with Executive in Charge of Production, Jonathan Saba, from Image Entertainment. The show is distributed to cable systems nationally by iN DEMAND (
