Many Just-Nominated Films On Cable's Movies On Demand

New York, January 11 - Awards Season 2013 is off and running.  As the film industry prepares to bestow its highest honor on the year's best films on Sunday, February 24, cable customers nationwide can enjoy some of 2012's most celebrated films from the comfort of their own homes via Movies On Demand (MOD) on cable.  

MOD provides film fans the opportunity to catch up on some of the most talked about and honored films of the year in advance of the awards.  Some of the year's biggest nominated hits such as "Argo," "Beasts of the Southern Wild,"  "Frankenweenie," "Marvel's The Avengers," "The Master," "Prometheus," "Skyfall," "Flight" and many others are currently available or coming soon to cable's on demand platform.  Other titles will be announced in the coming weeks.  Many systems are also featuring a wealth of Free On Demand awards-related special programs, including behind-the-scenes features and interviews with current nominees and past winners.  Stay tuned for more information on these video features.
