New York, July 10, 2012 - For the second year, iN DEMAND returns to the Hard Rock Hotel, right across from the 2012 Comic-Con International convention in San Diego, bringing in a wealth of innovative consumer promotions, press events, celebrity interviews and online content, all focused on promoting the Movies On Demand on Cable (MOD) platform, and specifically bringing targeted content to the passionate audience that follows this huge pop culture event. Once again, iN DEMAND has secured this strategic location which is a locus of celebrity and fan activity. Their "Movies On Demand Lounge" serves as the command center for a press and blogger lounge, talent shoots and a host of promotional activities.
According to iN DEMAND's Chief Creative Officer Stacie Gray, "Last year was an enormously successful inaugural promotion around the conference. Movies On Demand was able to garner millions of impressions and increase awareness of cable's MOD platform. This year, we are building on that with new strategic digital and social promotions and on-site filmed coverage of this all-important pop culture event."

Plus, iN DEMAND will be on the scene in San Diego interviewing stars and shooting other convention action for the FOD folder.
ON-SITE PRESS EVENTS -
The world-famous Los Angeles rock station KROQ will be broadcasting each morning from the lounge and promoting Movies On Demand. Plus, the lounge will serve as a place for editors and bloggers to relax and recharge (literally), as well as join the iN DEMAND team, studios and other notables for press events. The "MOD Lounge" will house invitation-only celebrity media appearances including Morgan Spurlock, the filmmaker behind "Comic-Con Episode IV: A Fan's Hope" which is currently playing on MOD. Other celebrity press conferences will feature stars or filmmakers who are involved with titles premiering on MOD.
ONLINE & SOCIAL MEDIA-
iN DEMAND will be attending all the major events and tweeting throughout the conference. Fans can follow this action via @moviesondemand on Twitter and check for updates about MOD during the conference and beyond on Facebook. A micro-site, www.rentmoviesondemand.com/comic, launched on July 4 with promotions of the movies in the "Comic-Con" folders, plus streaming of the FOD assets. The micro-site also features a national "Geekstakes," with the grand prize of a 60" HDTV. Plus, there's a themed game powered by Hollywood Player that tests fans' knowledge of genre films - the first 1,000 fans to complete the trivia sprint will win "Cable Cash."
MSOs also received a social media and digital promotional toolkit.
MOD brand ambassadors will interact with fans outside the conference center in San Diego and distribute coveted premiums from top MOD movies while also incenting fans to "re-tweet" an MOD message for a chance to win Cable Cash towards an MOD rental.
iN DEMAND has secured some targeted digital media placements including a site takeover at Crave Online (http://www.craveonline.com/) for July 12, the first day of the conference. The homepage will be "comic-ized" to look like a comic book, and featuring info about comic book and super hero movies on MOD. In addition, July 2 began a run of promoted tweets on Twitter, as well as a buy on Facebook. MOD spots will also run on the G4 channel from July 12-15.
