Position: Internship - Howard Stern On Demand
Reports To: Coordinating Producer
GENERAL RESPONSIBIILTIES:
Howard TV is seeking student interns for the spring 2010 semester. Interns will work with the HSOD staff on various aspects of post production including:
• Logging field shoot tapes
• Watching episodes for quality control
• Assisting producers with tape library needs
• Assisting producers on field shoots – such as doing releases and wrangling talent.
• Assisting with production supply runs.
• Assisting technical staff at studio with staging for upcoming shows.
• Handling tape duplication
• Assist editors and producers in gathering b-roll elements for episodes. Loading video footage into system for edit sessions.
• Assist with general office support.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Must be an enrolled college student.
• Students must be able to secure college credit in exchange for the work experience.
• Must have some basic knowledge of TV production, preferably with a declared major in a related field.
• Must be available from 2-4 days a week with hours generally from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Must be familiar with Final Cut editing software.
• Must be very organized
• Must be able to multi-task
• Must be able to work independently
